Please confirm the final specification.

最终规格确认 is the production go/no-go moment. Getting this right prevents the most expensive kind of mistake: producing a thousand units to the wrong spec.

WHEN IT FITS

The formal checkpoint before production startsEnsuring both buyer and supplier are working from the same technical documentThe moment when changes become expensive — after spec confirmation, revisions cost money

最终规格确认 (final specification confirmation) is the most important message in a production cycle, because everything that happens after it assumes the spec is right. In Chinese factory communication, “confirming specs” is the boundary between the flexible stage — where changes are annoying but manageable — and the committed stage, where changes cost money, waste materials, and delay delivery. The factory manager who says 确认了就不能改了 (once confirmed, it can’t be changed) isn’t being rigid. They’re protecting both of you from the consequences of indecision.

The spec confirmation should be a document, not a WeChat message. A proper 规格书 (guī gé shū, spec sheet) lists every dimension, material, color code, surface treatment, printing requirement, and packaging detail. Both sides should have a copy, and the confirmation should reference it explicitly: 按照2024年6月15日版《规格书》确认,无修改 (confirmed per June 15, 2024 version of the Spec Sheet, no changes). A WeChat message that says 规格没问题 (the specs are fine) is not a spec confirmation — it’s a handshake that will be forgotten when the dispute happens. Get it in writing with a clear document version.

If you’re the buyer, spec confirmation is where you check everything one last time. Dimensions: are these finished product dimensions or packaging dimensions? Material: is the material specified by composition (65% cotton, 35% polyester) or by feel (soft, thick)? Color: is there a Pantone reference or a physical sample? Labels: what language, what information, what placement? The time to discover that the spec says “red” when you meant “#CC0000” is before you confirm, not after the factory has dyed a thousand meters of fabric. The Chinese phrase 我再核对一遍 (let me double-check one more time) is always worth the delay it causes.

HOW PEOPLE ACTUALLY SAY IT

规格书我发你了,请仔细确认,没问题了我们就安排生产。

Guīgéshū wǒ fā nǐ le, qǐng zǐxì quèrèn, méi wèntí le wǒmen jiù ānpái shēngchǎn.

I've sent you the spec sheet — please confirm carefully. Once it's confirmed, we'll arrange production.
