How do I say 'so true'?

Chinese has a rich vocabulary of agreement that goes far beyond 对 (correct) and 是的 (yes). Choosing the right one communicates not just that you agree, but how you agree:

• 对 / 是的 — basic agreement. “Correct.” Functional but flat.
• 太对了 — enthusiastic agreement. “So true!” Emotional, warm, shows you care about the topic.
• 就是！ — the insider agreement. “That’s it! Exactly!” This is what real conversations sound like. It is casual, immediate, and signals that the other person articulated something you already felt.
• 确实 — measured, thoughtful agreement. “Indeed.” Slightly more formal, suggests you have considered the point before agreeing.
• 没错 — “not wrong / you’re right.” Another common agreement form, slightly more assertive than 对.

就是 deserves special attention because it is so common and so absent from textbooks. When someone explains something and you think “yes, that’s exactly it,” 就是！is the natural response. It is not translatable as a single English word because it functions as a conversational marker more than a vocabulary item.
